Many companies are switching to having robots work for them instead of humans because usually, these companies believe that the robots finish the work much quicker, would cost them less money than the humans and won't waste time. Such as asking for days off, asking for a raise and not even finishing all of their work.

News Script
-----Inside Studio----- Annie: Good evening and welcome back to MMA news. Tonight we are going to discuss job loss and potential technological advances. Just last week a group of factory workers were laid off and replaced Drew: What terrible news it is Anna, we have live footage over to Jaqueline who is on the scene right now…take it away Jaqueline… ----switch to outside---- Jackie: Thank you Anna, and Drew as you can see behind me there was an angry mob protesting because they were replaced by mechanical personal. I will be speaking to them to see what are their thoughts on the situation... ------start clip-----outside interviewing----- Caitlyn: This isn't fair many of us have been here since day one and they’re okay with replacing us with metal brains?! It's just ridiculous and degrading to all hard-working factory men and women. Drew: Honestly I saw this coming, with this new day and age some things were bound to change. When the first robot was brought in, I quit before they had a chance to fire me. Annie: Working here helped pay the bills, keep a roof over my head. For all the hard work we put into this company this is how they repay us? We have families to provide for, do they not care?! Jackie: I have two kids at home it's hard supporting the three of us when I don't have a job. Raising kids on the street is no life for them to be living...I'd rather live in a crap apartment then on the streets. ----End Clip----still outside------ Jackie: As you can see some are taking it harder than others. Back to you guys in the studio ------Back in the studio----- Drew: Oh my God Annie: How horrible right? How would you feel if that were you? Drew: *Sarcastic remark* We don’t have to worry, what machine will take our jobs? Annie: You’re right let us bring in an expert to answer some of our questions, let us welcome in Dr. Caitlyn Jimenez ----Walks in & sits down----- Caitlyn: Hello thank you for having me. Drew: Hello Dr. thank you for coming in and answering some of our questions today. Caitlyn: Yes of course that's what I'm here for. Caitlyn: As you can see, machines are taking over the factory scene as we speak. I’m one of the experts who helped to develop this new type of technology, but I had no idea what they were going to do with it and, honestly I don’t like what they doing with it right now. I don’t really see how robots in the workplace could be a good thing- -----annie cuts her off--- Annie: Well doctor I disagree it could speed up the workline and bring in tons of money for the company… Caitlyn: Yes bringing in robots could speed up production, but for money intake it would remain the same, think about this what ever money is collected none of it would go back to the workers… Drew: Because they're robots… Caitlyn: Yes and most of the money would disappear into the pockets of the guy running the company. Annie: Dr. If this were to continue could robo workers take over all work forces... Drew: Or could robots take ours or yours? Caitlyn: See this is something we aren't sure about...because this is only being tested... over time we could have an idea where this could lead us. Drew and Annie: Well that's all the time we have for today… Annie: Thank you Dr. for being on the show tonight…thank you viewers at home for watching and see you soon.
